#capturethursday French Fashion Icon BRIGITTE BARDOT

Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot is a French actress, singer and fashion model, who later became an animal rights activist. She was one of the best known sex symbols of the 1950s and 1960s and was referred to by her initials, B.B.
Brigitte started as ballerina in her early life. Her acting career started in 1952 and after appearing in 16 routine comedy films, with limited international release, became world-famous in 1957, with the controversial film And God Created Woman. Bardot caught the attention of French intellectuals. BB retired from the entertainment industry in 1973. After that she established herself as an animal rights activist. During the 2000s, she generated controversy by criticizing immigration and Islam in France and has been fined five times for inciting racial hatred.
Brigitte Bardot is a fashion icon I admire. Her fashion style she was following during‘50s and ‘60s is my inspiration.
