#wakeupmonday MY READING LIST

God! What a Monday! After a long Easter break, traveling Poland and England I am finally back to Barcelona. I am surrounded by tones of books I brought from home and some library ones I have borrowed in March. These are the list of a few interesting books I am currently reading.

Love Style Life by Garance Dore. “The guardian of all style” says The New York Times Magazine. The book is a must for a fashion freak. It shares stories on life, love, style, and career, from Paris to New York, and inspires readers to cultivate an effortless chic. The author’s  blog  has gained millions of readers worldwide with her fresh and appealing approach to style. This beautifully illustrated book takes readers on a unique journey that blends Garance’s inimitable photography and illustrations with the candid, hard-won wisdom drawn from her life and her travels.

The woman I wanted to be by Diane von Furstenberg. This book  will help you to relax and deepen your knowledge about fashion industry. Diane, in a very honest way, described her family, that played an important role in her life. She talked about her mother, Auchwitz survivor, who, maybe in a little cold way, teach her how to be confident and fearless. From very early age little Diane learn how to be strong and self-sufficient. Reading this books make you believe that dreams come true.

Style Primer (Elementarz Stylu) by Katarzyna Tusk. This book is
available only in Polish unfortunately, however I hope it will be translated soon. It is my favourite style book so far. It has been written by the blog founder I was writing last week about (MakeLifeEasier). Basically book talks about the way author’s style has changed throughout her life and how to find your own style. She also writes about how to dress on a different occasion such as wedding, weekend, events etc. She also splits her book into four different fashion cities: Paris, London, New York, Milan and writes her own story about each city.

Spanish on high heels by Lingo. Will I finally start learning some Spanish? My sister is trying to encourage me to do so and bought me one of the book for beginners in Spanish. Wish me luck!

The A to Z of the Fashion Industry by Francesca Sterlacci and Joanne Arbuckle. It is a total must-have for fashion students.

Fashion Marketing by Tony Hines and Margaret Bruce. Basically good range of information for Fashion Marketing.
